The Royal Norwegian Embassy and Art Link co-operated on socially responsible projects, bringing the culture and life together

The Royal Norwegian Embassy has, in co-operation with Art Link, realised two concerts by esteemed Norwegian Saxophone player Rolf Erik Nystrøm, on 14 and 16 July. The concerts were a part of Summer Art Link 2008 Festival.
Art Link and the Embassy co-operated on yet another socially responsible project called “Letters to…”. The idea behind the project was to bring the art and every day life together. Children from Kosovo villages of Orahovac and Velika Hoca wrote letters to people they think are influential in Serbia in which they projected their dreams and hopes for the future.
The presentation of the “Letter to…” project in Gallery OZONE on 23 July was an opportunity to promote yet another of Norway’s projects in Kosovo. On this occasion wine from Vinery Antic from Orahovac was served. Norway has, in cooperation with Nasa Kuca NGO, supported the Vinery Antic as a part of the wider income generating programme in Orahovac.
