10/05/2004 :: Xploding Plastics is a Norwegian electronica band with growing popularity among the international audience. XP is presently the most interesting electronic music band in Norway. They performed within the REFRACT festival (May 05-11, 2004). The REFRACT 3 festival was designed as a few days' presentation of the latest and most interesting productions in the field of  Europe-wide alternative culture.

A review from the ”International DJ” Magazine
”Think of the smoky ambience of Cinematic Orchestra, combine that with some low end bass rumblings à la Charlie Mingus or Ron Carter, add a few Art Blakey drum solos and a pinch of Plaid-like electronica and you’re still not even halfway to understand what this raving banshee of a record sounds like. The latest CD of Xploding Plastix is a must buy.”

The performance of XP was supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.

The local partner was Cultural Front, Makedonska 22/IV,  011/ 316 42 96
